- I am a wife and Mom. I was adopted when I was 3 months old. I am also a Birth Mom and my birth daughter Wendy is 26 years old. I have a step son Gary who is 37 a son Andrew who is 21 and a daughter who is 23. My husband All and is the best man in the world! I was born and raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan and now live in West Tennessee. I am a receptionist and a lay counselor at our local crisis pregnancy center. I found my birth-family when I was 27 years old and only have contact with a birth sister. I have no contact with my birth daughter at this time. Adoption is a big part of my life. I am also a type 2 diabetic and have been for almost 6 years now.

Sounds like a wonderful time and to know your Mom was so thrilled makes it al worth while, doesn't it?
My mouth was watering at your very graphic descriptions of the wonderful meals you ate.--How was your scales when you got back?? : )
I am so happy for you that you were able to do that and to be with your whole family. Are your sibs also adopted?
There is nothing like family and yours surely seems to be close--so glad for you.

Great pics. It looks like a great time. Your mom looks great! I'm glad you labeled all of the pics, it is so much fun seeing pics of the members of your family I haven't met and seeing how everyone else has changed.
